Applied Riparian Restoration: Turning Theory Into Practice, Rogue-Siskiyou Area Workshop

 Workshop Objectives:

·         Increase knowledge, skills, and confidence for successful riparian project planning, implementation, and maintenance.

·         Integrate technical modules, field-based sessions, and peer-to-peer learning.

·         Enhance regional networking and capacity for riparian professionals in southwestern Oregon.

Target Audience: 

Restoration professionals who are expected to plan, implement, and maintain riparian enhancement projects in agricultural or rural landscapes in the Rogue-Siskiyou ecoregion and surrounding areas.

 Workshop Location:

Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District, 89 Alder St, Central Point, OR 97502.


$50 registration fee includes coffee, light breakfast, lunch, and transportation to field sites for both days. Register here. Registration opens 8am, Monday, February 4 and closes Friday, March 1.

Financial Assistance:

A limited amount of funding is available to support participation by smaller organizations. If interested, submit the request form to (redacted) by February 15. Please wait to register until you are notified of your award amount (by February 22).
