Grazing, Soils, and Pastures: An Intensive 3-Day Workshop

November 7th - 9th

The Oregon Pasture Network (OPN) is a program of Friends of Family Farmers designed to support the growth of pasture-based agriculture in our state. The OPN is partnering with Dr. Woody Lane of Lane Livestock Services to offer this 3-Day Intensive Workshop on Grazing, Soils, and Pastures at the Southern Oregon Research & Extension Center in Central Point. This workshop focuses on soil health, forage and pasture management, and how to integrate forage cover crops on hemp farms.
The workshop is open to all livestock owners, prospective livestock owners, and hemp producers. Livestock and prospective owners are encouraged to sign up for all 3 days of the workshop, while hemp producers should sign up for the first 2 days only.
