Our natural resource day camp takes 40 4th-7th graders outside for a week to learn about forests, rivers, farms, ranches, and more! Campers participate in a variety of activities led by natural resource professionals, as well as other games and activities.
Our camp counselors are an integral part of making our camp a success! Camp counselors are assigned to a group of 10 youth and support them throughout the week during the activities; counselors also lead games and other activities for their group during camp.
Benefits of being a camp counselor:
- Develop and enhance leadership skills such as communication and group management
- Gain experience for job or college applications
- Spend a fun week outside with others learning about the local environment
- Fulfill volunteer requirements for graduation
- Free camp tuition for a family member
Camp counselors must be available from June 27-July 1st 8-4:30, as well as for a training from 9:30-3:00 on Wednesday, June 15th.
Ages 16 and up. Camp starts and ends from Rogue Valley Mall.
