Irrigation Efficiency Improvement Projects:What they mean for water quality and agricultural production

Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District strives to improve agricultural production efficiency, while improving water quality and the overall quality of our water resources throughout the county.

In an effort to better track how "wild" flood irrigation impacts water quality, specifically E. coli  and temperature loading, JSWCD monitored five irrigation efficiency improvement projects from 2009 to 2016.
