Resources for Dealing with Drought in Agriculture

State of Oregon Financial Assistance Programs:

1) Oregon Disaster Assistance Payments (ODAP): starting mid-April farmers who suffered losses in 2021 due to the drought can apply for loan forigveness. Farmers need to demonstrate farm losses in 2021 compared to 3-year average income. Learn more here.

2) Farmer and Rancher Disaster Relief Grant: These funds will be available to farms that do not fit the requirements outlined by other state and federal disaster relief funds. The first application period is currently open and the maximum grant amount is $30,000. Visit the OCFSN website for further details on eligibility and how to apply.
