The Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District is dedicated to helping the people of Jackson County protect and conserve their natural resources. We work with both individuals and communities to analyze and implement science-based solutions to various resource concerns, while still protecting the cultural, social and economic values of Jackson County.

Free technical advice is available to help you make informed decisions that will protect your natural resources, while working towards your own management goals. Together, we can help you design, implement, and potentially secure funding to help you solve your resource concerns.

Partnering for Education

Education is the key to teaching present and future generations about our area’s unique and critical resources, and the importance of conservation. JSWCD offers a variety of educational opportunities for youth and adults. Jackson SWCD works one-on-one with land owners, managers, communities and educators to help put conservation on the ground. We can help you to determine your needs, set goals, and create a plan of action to meet them.
