Ellie Zignego, Outreach and Engagement Coordinator

Ellie Zignego serves as the Outreach and Engagement Coordinator for JSWCD. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Montana State University, where she developed expertise in stream ecology, soil science, environmental microbiology, and plant pathology. She has furthered her knowledge by attending two seminar courses with Paul Stamets at Fungi Perfecti, focusing on mushroom cultivation and mycorestoration techniques. Additionally, Ellie holds a Master’s degree in Teaching STEM and has experience as a high school science teacher.

In her spare time, Ellie enjoys exploring nature with her partner, teaching yoga, and creating art.
