Water, Drought, and a Changing Agriculture in the Rogue Valley: An Online Public Session

May contain: soil, outdoors, field, and ground

Join this online event hosted by Rogue Riverkeeper and the Rogue Valley Food System Network with a panel of local experts, including our very own Meghan Montgomery & Paul DeMaggio, Beaver State Wildlife Solutions, and Jackson County, with special guest Representative Pam Marsh.

The community panel will be discussing these questions and more:

  • What are the short term realities and are there any good solutions?
  • What are longer term strategies given our changing climate and how can we work together as a community to make it possible?
  • What can both people and farms do to manage water more efficiently?
  • What can neighborhoods that are a part of a smaller tributary watershed do to support each other and share water resources and knowledge? How can they begin to work together towards building water resiliency?
