Water Quality Monitoring in Action

Another benefit that JSWCD provides to the county and region is long-term monitoring. Conducting long-term monitoring helps JSWCD, partners, and the public understand changes to our natural resources over time. This allows us to better understand the impact of our work on the ground and make adjustments as needed. Our long-term monitoring has predominantly focused on water quality up to this point in time, but will expand into some of our other natural resource focus areas as well.

JSWCD staff also conduct project-based monitoring to capture outcomes and learning from specific project implementation efforts as well.
