District Grants

JSWCD offers several grant programs to address different project types and sizes. District funds may be used for projects addressing natural resource issues or to assist community education projects. Grants are awarded based on the benefit to resources and the citizens of Jackson County. Visit our resource page to learn more about the areas we focus on for our natural resource conservation projects.

Larger natural resource conservation project grant applications are put forth at the recommendation of district staff. The process entails submitting a planning agreement and grant application with 1:1 matching funds. Applications are submitted to the Executive Director and District Funds Committee, comprised of members of the Board of Directors, for approval. For more information on these grants, contact our office.

The District also offers several smaller grant programs: our rebate programs. To learn more about those visit the page to the right.
