The District offers several larger grant programs to address different project types and sizes. District funds may be used for projects addressing urban or rural natural resource issues or to assist in the development or continuation of community education projects. Grants are awarded based on the benefit to resources and the citizens of Jackson County. Check out the list below to see our natural resource conservation priorities.
Our grant process for these programs consists of submitting a planning agreement and grant application with 1:1 matching funds. Applications are submitted to an advisory group comprised of members of our Board of Directors and the District Manager for potential approval.
