JSWCD offers grants for natural resource conservation projects and education projects. JSWCD's education grant program provides funding for natural resource education projects in Jackson County undertaken by government organizations, nonprofits, Tribes, and educational institutions. JSWCD also offers rebate programs: smaller-scale natural resource conservation grants. Learn more about our education grants and rebate programs at the pages below.

Use of funds for larger conservation projects is done at the recommendation of district staff. Often these funds are used in tandem with external grants to further landscape-scale conservation projects in our geographic areas of focus. For more information on these grant funds, contact our office.

Our rebate programs help support smaller conservation projects in specific topical areas and offer a streamlined planning and granting process for qualifying projects.

Community Conservation and Education Grant Program

JSWCD’s Community Conservation and Education (CCE) grant offers funding to community organizations in Jackson County for conservation projects with an educational emphasis. This program leverages partner expertise countywide to design and execute top-tier conservation and education initiatives that alige with JSWCD’s goals and priorities.
